The belt consists of high strength webbing with cobra buckle inside a padded chassis. It can be combined along with the M2 Legs and X-Belt padding system which allows for a full M2 harness configuration. The new 2nd generation M2 is lighter and more comfortable than its predecessors, plus it is the first to use narrow 25mm Cobra buckles with release tabs that are flush with the frame to minimize chances of them being opened accidentally.
