Work at Height (WAH) Awareness for Managers
The one-day Work at Height (WAH) for Managers is a course for those in a supervisory position who oversee the organisation and planning of a team of individuals whose job role requires them to work at height.
The course gives oversight and knowledge of the requirements of the WAH regulations to give context to their role and what is expected of both the individuals and the manager.
The course is theory based in the form of lectures and group discussions.
This course covers:
- WAH legislation and governance
- Risk assessments
- Rescue plans
- Introduction to fall arrest and WAH equipment
- British Standards and other relevant governing bodies.
