Urban Tactical Rope Operator (UTRO)
The UTRO course is designed to train an individual to be a competent and safe Urban Operator able to use a variety of systems and techniques including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection and employment, an understanding of legislation, governance and training requirements, ascending and descending techniques, casualty pick offs, utilising mechanical advantage to conduct lowering and raising operations, access and egress techniques, personal and team-based rescues, and overview of High directionals and guiding lines.
