Climbing Technology Universal Hard Piton

The Climbing Technology Universal Hard pitons are constructed from hard steel and are thus best suited for use on hard rock (e.g., granite/schist). It doesn't adapt as well as a soft steel piton to irregular cracks, but is much easier to remove and often recyclable.

The 45° angled head of the Universal Hard piton applies torque to maximise holding power in both vertical and horizontal cracks.

The 10 cm and 12 cm pitons are certified as progression only (P) pitons and the 15 cm is certified as a Safety (S) piton.
