The Misty Mountain Harness System is a versatile, full-body harness rated to EN361 standards, designed for high-performance and security. Comprised of the Misty Mountain Commando Belt, Misty Mountain Basic Leg Loops and Misty Mountain Chest Harness. 

 

The system combines a sturdy inner liner belt with a load-rated outer belt, featuring a lightweight design with Velcro loops for secure wear and ⅜” molle for attaching essential gear. The harness includes front and rear attachment loops and a corrosion-resistant stainless steel slider bar adjuster buckle, making it suitable for maritime environments. Constructed from durable nylon and nylon/polyester materials, the harness is UIAA Safety label approved and load-rated to 15 kN.

 

The system also incorporates quick-adjust leg loops with closed-cell foam padding and a 3” wide back for maximum comfort. These leg loops are equipped with integral auto-block loops and an auto-lock carabiner, creating a climbing sit harness that can support up to 3,400 lbs (15 kN). 

 

For scenarios requiring additional security and a higher tie-in point, the system includes a chest component with an Austri Alpin Cobra buckle for easy entry, two gear loops, and a load-rated tether for front attachment. The redesigned front buckle allows for hoisting and extraction, enhancing the functionality of the harness in various situations.
