The Helix 6-Step Etrier is a refined evolution of the now-discontinued CTOMS Etrier, designed for compactness, functionality, and reliability in demanding environments.

 

When stowed, the etrier packs down neatly into a compact form measuring 13cm x 25cm. Fully extended, it spans 150cm from the top connection loop to the bottom step.

 

Each of the six steps features an integrated plastic stiffener within the webbing. This ensures the steps remain open for easy foot placement and prevents the steps from collapsing under load—minimizing the risk of foot entrapment.

 

A dedicated grab loop is located at the top connection point, allowing for smoother transitions off the top of the ladder or serving as a temporary attachment point as needed.

 

Additional connection loops at the base of the etrier allow multiple ladders to be linked together, providing extended reach when required.

 

Although the ladders exceeded 12 kN in strength during development testing, the Helix Etrier is not certified as Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and should be used accordingly.
