REBS Wire Ladders are the lightest tactical wire ladders on the market.

 

The wire ladder is made with the highest quality components and materials. The sides of the ladder use Ø3 mm stainless steel wire cable, the end thimbles are made from 316 stainless steel and the rungs are black anodized 6082-T6 aluminium.

 

The rungs are diamond knurled to provide a durable high friction grip surface to make climbing easier and more secure. The rungs minimise weight further by being manufactured from hollow tube.

 

The rungs are fastened to the wire rope with an innovative and very strong mechanical bond. The bond has been tested to 470 kg on a single side without breaking. 

 

The ladder sides have been tested to 1200kg and the rungs have a MBL of 200kg in the centre of the rung. 

 

REBs also produce spacers for the ladders to help keep the rungs away from the surface being climbed – the REBS Distance Wheels are available as accessories.

 

Deploying and storing the wire ladder – especially longer lengths -is made much easier by using the REBS ladder reel with retractable handles. This can be used by hand or mounted on the pneumatic and wind-up poles to allow automatic deployment when the poles are extended.

 

If the climbing protocol involves resting then it is best to use a specific ladder fifi hook rather than a carabiner on the rung as the ladder fifi has a much broader surface area and avoids point loading.
