The W+R Uranos is a flame-retardant tactical glove crafted from advanced high-tech materials, designed for heavy-duty applications. It offers the highest level of cut protection and flame resistance. The palm features reinforced, cut-resistant material to aid in handling anti-riot batons and shields. Its excellent tactility also makes it suitable for shooting or operating technical equipment. Combining top-tier protective features with an anatomical fit, the Uranos delivers exceptional functionality.
The W+R Uranos achieves the highest cut protection class 5, as defined by EN 388, and features a specialised outer coating that repels flames and flammable liquids. Its reinforced palm provides exceptional abrasion resistance and superior grip. The glove is equipped with soft, ergonomically designed memory microfoam protectors for the wrist, back of the hand, knuckles, and first finger joints, offering impact absorption and comfort. A highly flexible joint beyond the knuckle, made from high-quality black Nomex®, enhances dexterity while providing flame resistance and light-duty cut protection. Inside, a flame-retardant carbon lining adds another layer of heat protection. The glove also includes secure fastening mechanisms such as hook-and-loop straps at the wrist, coated metal hooks and eyes, and a drawstring cuff to ensure a snug, reliable fit.
