The MoG Fast Rope Tactical glove, developed in collaboration with the Instruction Group Rotary Wing (Royal Dutch Army), is made for professional and tactical use during combat operations. Its distinctive features set it apart from other Fast Rope gloves, particularly in its suitability for rope-to-gun transitions. The glove is certified according to EN 388 and EN 407 standards for mechanical protection and for protection against contact heat.
A slim fit finger design ensures exceptional finger sensitivity for rope handling while allowing seamless manipulation of weapons, radios, and other equipment. The palm features multiple thin layers with a split leather top layer, delivering outstanding grip, heat dissipation during fast roping, and additional cut protection.
Reinforcement patches of split leather are strategically placed on the fingers and between the thumb and index finger and conductive leather on the thumb and index finger facilitates easy use of touchscreen devices. Additional stitching lines and recess areas at key points ensure greater dexterity with critical areas on and between the thumb and finger reinforced for added protection. The back of the hand is crafted from 4-way stretch and quick-drying fabric, providing breathability and comfort, while neoprene partially covers the knuckle area, offering soft impact protection against accidental blows.
Enhanced protection against heat accumulation in the palm and fingers is achieved, with certification to the EN 407 standard for Contact Heat protection level 2 (claimed for palm and fingers).
A short cuff design enables unrestricted wrist movement and features a sturdy hook and loop closure for effortless donning and doffing, ensuring a snug fit around the wrist. An inner cuff incorporates a robust and foldable loop for convenient attachment to a carabiner, belt, or plate-carrier.
