Marlow FRIES Rope
The Marlow Fast Rope Insertion & Extraction System (FRIES) rope is designed as a multi-purpose use product that can be used for descent, insertion and extraction. The FRIES rope is essentially a 40mm Fast rope with 6 extraction loops sewn into it – the 6 extraction loops are made from 11mm LSK rope that allow six fully equipped personnel to be carried under the helicopter. The FRIES rope can also be used as a regular Fast Rope for the rapid insertion of troops.

The FRIES (Fast Rope Insertion & Extraction System) from Marlow is designed as a multi use product for rapid deployment and retrieval, reducing the risk to helicopters and personnel. Each Marlow F.R.I.E.S can carry 6 fully equipped personnel with it's loop and lanyard system and can also be used as a regular Fast Rope.
Dynalite Termination - Significant weight savings over metal terminations and eliminates the risk of injury to personnel on the ground when ropes are released post deployment. No metal parts eliminates the requirement for X-Ray of termination before re-use.
MultiFit Termination - Designed to fit a wide range of helicopter cargo hooks and hoist systems. Features a 45mm machined eye allowing fast attachment.
Spliced Eye Termination - Ideally suited for descent from towers in training situations. Easily hooked over support beams or scaffolding in training.
