Bluewater Assaultline 11mm

The Bluewater Assaultline 11mm is one of the first ropes designed specifically for tactical use and has evolved into one of the very best ropes for this specialised market.

The Assaultline has a polyester sheath and nylon core – both of which are balanced with a double twist cabled construction. In use this means that kinking is reduced and so is spinning during rappels. The sheath is 32 braid, but the yarns are twisted and doubled up so that it appears to be 16 – this creates a very strong and abrasion resistant sheath.

The polyester sheath contributes to the low stretch whilst giving better wet strength, less water absorption and consistent handling across both wet and dry conditions. Plus added protection from ultraviolet light and chemical that would be harmful to nylon.

The rope has a reputation for being tough with great abrasion resistance.

It should be noted that this a thick 11mm and in reality is more like 11.2-11.4mm.
