Comparison of Tactical Rigid Ladders

Rigid Ladders

Helix Operations offer a comprehensive range of high-performance tactical ladder systems which have been specifically designed to increase operational options when working across a broad range of urban and maritime scenarios.

Pole & Dual Stile Ladders

Rigid tactical ladders use both pole and dual stile designs.

Pole ladders give operators up to a 10m reach and the ability to leapfrog up structures in a package that is light and easy to manoeuvre into position. Both urban and maritime options are available; urban systems using shorter lengths to allow carriage in confined spaces and VBSS maritime systems using longer lengths to allow maximum reach in minimum deployment time.

The more traditional dual stile ladders are now not only stronger, lighter and with greater reach than ever, but also multi-functional; modern, modular, tactical ladder systems having the ability to create leaning ladders, hanging ladders, bridging systems, artificial anchor points and liftable stretchers.

Composite solutions from REBS and HQH allow for extreme weight savings whilst increasing leaning, hanging and bridging strengths - unsupported bridging lengths are reaching 4.6 and 6.8 meters with the latest HQH FIX-LITE and LDC ranges.

Aluminium ladder options provide a similar range of capabilities with the Atlas Devices ATL providing excellent packability and a rapid deployment time in a lightweight package and the Alpha 7 system offering a heavier duty option.

Our Tactical Rigid Ladder brochure covers our full range of rigid ladders and highlights their key features – we have aimed to provide a comprehensive comparison tool that focuses on specifications, capabilities, accessories, maximum ladder reach, dimensions and weight so that end users can more easily find the most appropriate system.

Our Rigid Ladder comparison chart below illustrates ladder reach, weight, materials and configurability (MBL*).
