The Edelrid HMPE Cord Sewn Sling is made of high-strength HMPE as a Kernmantle construction with a robust polyester sheath. 

 

HMPE has a significantly higher breaking strength and a substantially lower weight compared to conventional materials.

 

It is particularly stiff and perfect for threads.

 

The 30 cm variant is particularly suitable for use as a prusik sling.
