Providing the highest quality products capable of functioning in the harshest of extremes.

Maritime Interdiction Operations demand precision, speed, and adaptability. The level of risk is tied to the classification of the boarding – and success hinges on having the right equipment. In most scenarios, boarding teams must be equipped with vertical assault systems to advance quickly and establish control over a vessel or offshore platform. These systems must offer inherent flexibility and zero-failure performance to operate effectively in challenging conditions and across a wide variety of surfaces.

Maritime vertical assault equipment is categorised according to the freeboard height of the vessel or platform: Low Vertical Access (LVA) for up to 5 metres, and High Vertical Access (HVA) for anything above.

Low Vertical Access (LVA)

LVA systems typically consists of rigid ladders, designed with the adaptability to be deployed over a vessel or platform’s railing, bulwark, or deck. This straightforward approach has driven innovation in design, reducing weight while retaining strength and durability. To sustain momentum during operations, HVA components may be used in conjunction with LVA equipment to enable decentralised entry and increased operational flexibility.

REBS 7 Inch Titanium Hook

The REBS Titanium 7" tactical single hooks are lightweight, high strength grapnel hooks designed for use with the Carbon Ladder, Telescopic Poles and Windup Poles. The titanium hooks can be arc or tip loaded.

REBS Rolatube

A versatile tool that can be used in boarding, urban operations, and beyond. It is suitable as a stop mast, signal mast, for surveillance or any other uses where a portable pole is needed.

High Vertical Access (HVA)

All military operations involve risk, but HVA missions are especially hazardous—more so in challenging environments or complex boarding scenarios. These operations are carried out by elite Operators, so systems must simplify their demanding tasks. Core tools include flexible ladders, hooks, and poles usable above or below the waterline, with powered ascenders and grapnel launchers available for greater reach and speed.

REBS Ultralight Pole Ladder (UPL)

A lightweight rigid section ladder that is excellent for both urban and maritime boarding and entering. The system can reach up to 11m when the top adapter, five sections of 1.7m, an optional single step and 1.5m Wire Ladder are all connected.
