Edelrid Ucca & Cetana Full Body Harness System

The UCCA and Cetana combine to create a lightweight and compact tactical harness system designed to allow unrestricted movement and good integration with tactical equipment. The harness meets the EN 1277 type D fully body standard, but not EN 361. The UCCA waist harness can be used independently from the chest harness as a lightweight climbing harness.

The UCCA waist harness is built to give good adjustability with four lightweight aluminium Slide Block buckles on the waist and leg loops. This allows it to be fully opened for donning on steep ground and also allow precise adjustment. The dual waist belt buckles ensure the belt and belay tie-in loop remain perfectly centred at all times.

The belay loop uses an endless loop (construction with a Dyneema® core and polyamide sheath for increased strength and good abrasion resistance. The belt also has six gear loops and two mounting points for gear racking carabiners (ie DMM Vault carabiner) or ice screw clips – thus the UCCA provides ample options for gear storage and organisation in the field.

The Cetana chest harness, meeting EN 12277 Type D standards, ensures a secure, stable position when abseiling or lowering with heavy loads. Made from durable 15 mm webbing with a color-contrasting kernmantel tie-in loop, it features reinforced stitching to prevent twisting and a flat, low-profile design that integrates easily over body armor or plate carriers. The symmetrical construction allows it to be worn in either orientation, while the rotating tie-in loop and buckle placement ensure comfort and adaptability.

When paired, the Cetana connects seamlessly to the UCCA via a rear textile attachment point, preventing forward slippage and creating a secure full-body system. Supplied with a lightweight Kiwi Triple carabiner with anti-twist protection, the setup guarantees quick, reliable connection and confidence in the most challenging environments.
