Edelrid Takuro Sit Harness

The Takuro harness is a comfortable, fully equipped, and durable hip belt, built for demanding use in the mountains and for reliable fall protection. Designed with the needs of army mountain guides and alpine special forces in mind, it combines strength, functionality, and comfort in one harness.

Equipped with three aluminum Slide Block buckles on the waist and leg loops, the TAKURO can be fully opened for quick and easy donning, while offering precise adjustment to individual requirements. The Center Fit construction ensures the hip pad and contrasting tie-in loop (Dyneema® core with polyamide sheath) always remain centrally aligned for maximum safety and comfort.

With four large, stiffened gear loops, an additional low-profile loop on the back, and four mounting points for material carabiners or ice screw clips, the TAKURO provides ample storage and excellent gear organization for demanding missions.
