A low-profile chest harness, manufactured by DMM, is made possible by using bonded/laminated fabrics and bespoke variable-width webbing. This lets you wear it under a plate carrier better than any other harness system.
Adding the HCMH type B Chest Harness to the Sit Harness turns the system into an EN 361:2002 (Fall arrest ONLY) certified Full Body Harness, EN 361:2002 (Fall arrest only) tested at 150kg to represent an operator's load.
There is a rear riser strap that stops the Chest Harness from lifting up when loaded - this is an important safety feature that helps stop the plate carrier being forced upward into the throat or face under sudden load.
The Chest Harness retainer allows a Helix Ladder Fifi Hook to be attached to an operator can rest/use two hands to operate equipment when climbing a ladder.
A chest ascender can be attached using a low-profile sling system that lets the ascender run on top of the plate carrier when the harness is underneath.
