Helix Lightweight Rigging Kit

Our Lightweight Rigging Kit comes with 50m of Edelrid Powercord, a DMM Rigging Hub and an Ultra D Screw Gate Carabiner. When utilising this option for rigging, operators can drastically reduce the weight of their rigging when building a focal point anchor system, especially when compared to other similar anchor builds which would use LSK (Low Stretch Kernmantle) rope that's generally 9 - 11mm in diameter.

The Rigging Hub makes for a great focal point to connect working systems to, due to the redundancy offered from the strength of a 3 leg, 3 strand Powercord rig using a Rigging Hub we can connect a Two Rope Rescue load directly to the UFO, as long as we have 3 unquestionable sound anchors. The Rigging Hub offers strength ratings above and beyond the load forces that would be seen with a 2-person load, another reason why all of the connections can be made to this one focal point. The caveat to all of this is knowledge, so operators need a good understanding of anchor systems and how to rate anchors.
