REBS Ultralight Pole Ladder Junior

The REBS UPL Junior was devised to optimise the use of the UPL tactical pole ladder system in urban environments – each section is 0.85m long rather that the 1.70m of the standard UPL ladder. In addition the UPL Junior does not have the built-in stand-offs; this allows the ladder sections to lay flat against each other and occupy minimal space. These two changes makes carrying the ladder system in constricted areas much easier and allows the sections be attached onto a rucksack without the sections sticking out too far and catching on obstacles. It also allows the overall length of carbon ladder to be optimised for a particular entrance point – this allows the ladder to be climbed faster.    

 

The UPL Junior ladder is manufactured uses exactly the same materials and construction techniques as the standard UPL but is just half the length. The connection system is the same two action locking pin as used on the UPL – this allows the sections to be locked together quickly, quietly and safely.

 

The UPL Junior does not have the built in stand-offs in order for it to be packed as compactly as possible – instead it uses push in pins that act as stand-offs. These are available as accessories and can be added to the steps as required.

 

The UPL Junior pole ladder uses the same system components - hook adapter / bottom step / wire ladder – as the standard UPL.
