Rope Lanyards

DMM Rope Lanyards with sewn terminations are durable, versatile and ideal for height safety applications. They can be used for work restraint, work positioning and fall arrest systems when combined with an appropriate device or energy absorber. 

Sewn terminations are stronger than knots, which can dramatically reduce a ropes breaking load. They are also less bulky making it easier to pass the termination through anchors and constrictions. Unlike most knots and splices, sewn terminations have a consistent, guaranteed minimum strain of 22kN. 

All our lanyards are sewn in our factory in Wales using advanced CNC technology and precision sewing patterns. This means our lanyards are made to the same exacting quality as all DMM products where the small details count such as using heavy duty, glue impregnated shrink tube on the terminations that inhibits both water ingress and stops the shrink wrap coming loose. We also cut the ends at a 45 degree angle to allow a neater, closer seal.
