In detail
The Atlas Tactical Ladder (ATL) is a folding aluminium ladder system designed for urban access, bridging, casualty movement, and maritime operations where low weight and compact pack size are important.
The ladder sections connect using locking joints that allow the system to be assembled, broken down, and reconfigured in the field. Sections can be distributed between team members during movement and quickly reassembled on site. Depending on the requirement, the ATL can be configured as a full-length ladder, shorter access ladder, or multiple ladder systems from the same setup. Connected systems can reach heights of approximately 5–6m.
The ATL can be deployed as a leaning ladder using hooks and footer systems to improve stability on uneven ground. It is compatible with the ATL Hook and REBS Tactical Hooks, while footer options include the standard Skid Puck and Common Foot Interface with individually adjustable feet.
For bridging tasks, a single ladder section can span gaps up to 2m. The system can also be configured for casualty movement by fitting stretcher handles and wheel systems to the ladder frame.
The ATL is available in Standard, Narrow, and Wide configurations, alongside a Switchblade variant.
