In detail
The Edelrid Hard Line 6mm which is made from a HMPE/polyester mix, replaces the Edelrid Aramid Cord 6mm.
The sheath is made from polyester, which protects the core from premature abrasion, increases grip, and makes it easy to knot.
The HMPE core means low weight and high cut resistance making it suitable, for example, as a connection to several fixed anchor points (belay station installation), threads, or prussic slings.
*This is the replacement to the Edelrid Aramid Cord.
