In detail
The UCCA tactical waist harness is built to give good adjustability with four lightweight aluminum Slide Block buckles on the waist and leg loops that allow precise adjustment. The dual waist belt buckles ensure the belt and belay tie-in loop remain perfectly centred at all times.
The belay loop used an endless loop (construction with a Dyneema® core and polyamide sheath for increased strength and good abrasion resistance. The belt also has six gear loops and two mounting points for gear racking carabiners (ie DMM Vault carabiner) or ice screw clips – thus the UCCA provides ample options for gear storage and organisation in the field.
Load-bearing straps on the hip belt and leg loops have a red wear indicator to signal when replacement is needed due to excessive wear.
All the buckles hit can be fully opened for easy donning on steep or unstable ground and precise adjustment to individual needs.
The harness can be combined with the Edelrid Cetana chest harness to create an EN 12277 D full body harness.
