The Pyrana R is the adjustable version of the CE-certified Pyrana quick-release lanyard, engineered for secure and precise positioning during aerial operations.
Certified to EN 362:2004 (Connectors) and EN 354:2010 (Lanyards), both the quick-release mechanism and the lanyard assembly are rated at 22 kN. The Pyrana quick-release connector reliably opens under a 150 kg load. Although it uses a manual closure system, it is certified under EN 362 with an exemption from automatic-closing requirements.
The connector features a dual-action safety release: unlock the red safety button, then squeeze both triggers simultaneously. All actions can be performed by touch and while wearing gloves.
The lanyard is constructed from durable 25 mm webbing with an intuitive adjustment buckle featuring an orange visibility tab for quick and precise length control, even in low-light environments. Each model includes the Pyrana Quick Release Device and an automatic-locking carabiner.
