The ground-breaking Helix LAS, Low Access System, was designed on direct request from several special operations units, wanting a covert and light 5m low access system. The kit is supplied in a satchel style pouch, allowing for a very covert entry and exit of up to 5m, that can be operated from the pouch, and packs back down in seconds. This is the smallest and quietest 5m capability out there.
Despite to the nature of the small diameter tube (designed exclusively by Rolatube for Helix) once deployed into pole form, the tube is strong enough to carry anything from a Helix Urban Hook, all the way up to a Cadex 14” Hook, with the full 5m ladder. The extended tube itself is 3m long, and with the reach of an average height operator, we can achieve 5m capability easily.
If an even swifter ascent is required, the pole system can be completely deployed in hiding, with the adapter, hook and ladder all staying in place ready to climb (even whilst walking quickly (or running) to the point of access)). All whilst remaining completely silent.
The kit can also be supplied with a Multicam molle pouch and also fits nicely in a leg-bag, dependant on your preferences. We supply each kit with two adapters, in case of loss.
