In detail
The HQH Ladcarb® is a modular tactical ladder system built around two single rails and detachable rungs, allowing the system to be configured for different access requirements.
The rails can be connected and used as a multi-purpose pole, while the ladder sections can be assembled into a leaning ladder, hook ladder, or bridging system. Eight sections create a full ladder setup, while six sections can be configured as a bridge capable of supporting loads up to 200kg.
Each anti-slip rung is rated to 500kg, providing stable footing during rescue and casualty extraction work.
The standard 4.6m ladder set consists of four sections that break down into individual components for transport and storage. Each section measures 1.22m in length and weighs 2.8kg, allowing the system to be carried and deployed by a single operator.
The LDC is supplied with foam-filled sections to provide neutral buoyancy during maritime operations. When in the water, the system sits just below the surface to reduce visual detection during movement and boarding operations.
