Misty Mountain Operator Waist Harness

The Misty Mountain Operator Sit Harness system is designed to be highly modular. It was designed to meet the requirements of SEALS, Green Berets, Commandos and PJs, Misty Mountain’s Mountain Mobility series provides military and tactical personnel with modular, scalable gear for vertical activities.

The MM Operator Belt can be worn by itself and the MM Belts are load rated to 3,000 lbs / 1360kg and provide edge restraint/work positioning capability. The MM Cobra Light leg loops can be quickly attached with a carabiner to transform the Belt into a UIAA 105 Type C certified fall arrest harness that is tested at 15kN / 3600 lbs.

The Operator Belt has 2 parts; a lightweight nylon, Velcro faced liner belt for use underneath belt loops to hold up trousers and an outer shooters belt that can be positioned over the inner belt. The outer shooters belt features an Austri Alpin Cobra buckle, front and rear attachment loops, four small gear loops, molle outer attachment webbing for mounting mission essentials, and a Velcro tab for stowing a Fifi hook.  The new low profile, laser cut, Cordura polymer composite molle platform provides a very stable platform for mounting pouches and equipment as well as being very durable.

The padded, adjustable Cobra Light leg loops feature easy on/off Cobra buckles, auto-block loops. The leg loops have auto block loops on each leg loop for clipping a prusik loop as an abseil / rappel back-up.

A Rock Exotica Pirate auto-lock carabiner hooks the belt and leg loops together in the front.  

It should be noted that the leg loops do not have rear elastic restraint straps.
