Misty Mountain Sparta Cobra Light Sit Harness

The Misty Mountain MM Sparta Cobra Light sit harness is comprised of an MM Sparta Cobra Belt with a 1.75” Cobra buckle and the MM Cobra Light Leg Loops with 1” Cobra buckles and an auto-locking carabiner to connect them together. This is a lightweight, easily packable and versatile harness – the leg loops can be worn around waist for ease of use until required and then deployed quickly for working in vertical environments.

Designed to meet the requirements of SEALS, Green Berets, Commandos and PJs, Misty Mountain’s Mountain Mobility series provides military and tactical personnel with modular, scalable gear for vertical activities. MM Belts are load rated to 3,000 lbs and provide edge restraint. Combining a MM Belt with MM Leg Loops creates a fall protection sit harness load rated to 3,600 lbs.   

The Sparta Cobra Belt is designed to hold up battle dress uniforms and tactical pants as a single piece belt. The Sparta Cobra Belt features a tapered, 1000 denier Cordura reinforced front attachment loop and the load rated Austri Alpin Cobra buckle. The attachment loop protrudes from the belt face, facilitating easy access for clipping with a locking carabiner or tying in with a rope. The belt webbing use tough, US woven 1.75″ wide nylon in a double layer with a sandwich of HDPE for stiffness; the extra stiffener means the belt easily supports heavy pouches or a sidearm without folding.

The padded, adjustable Cobra Light leg loops feature easy on/off Cobra buckles, auto-block loops. The leg loops have auto block loops on each leg loop for clipping a prusik knot as an abseil / rappel back-up.

A Rock Exotica Pirate auto-lock carabiner hooks the belt and leg loops together in the front.  

It should be noted that the leg loops do not have rear elastic restraint straps.
