The Flexible Extension provides additional length to the Rigid Boarding Ladders. It can also help to prevent damage to the RHIB and the RBL if they make contact in rough sea states. The extension is supplied with two pairs of stand-off discs and two carabiners for attaching to the RBL.
Breakaway connectors can also be used to prevent damage to the RBL if a component of the RHIB inadvertently catches the extension ladder. The Flexible Extension comes in 1m, 2m and 4m lengths. They are easy to attach and detach according to mission requirements.
